New York State Police troopers were dispatched to Route 22 in Dutchess County in the area of Haight Road in North East at approximately 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 28, where there was a report of a rollover tractor-trailer crash.

Investigation into the rollover determined that the driver of the tractor-trailer was driving southbound on Route 22 when he veered off the roadway to avoid a collision involving several vehicles in front of him waiting to make the left turn onto Haight Road. The driver lost control and the truck landed on its side.

Police said that no injuries were reported. The crash led to an hourslong closure of Route 22 in the area, which reopened at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Thursday morning once the tractor-trailer was removed from the area.
